Pickup currently not available
A striking pair of Art Deco moulded glass candlesticks dating from the 1930s, featuring elegant stepped baluster stems and broad circular sconces. Their rich tortoiseshell pattern, blending warm amber and deep brown tones, beautifully catches the light and gives each piece a distinctive appearance.
Probably of Central European, and possibly Czech, manufacture, these candlesticks reflect the bold geometric forms and innovative decorative glass associated with the Art Deco period. The marbled tortoiseshell design gives each candlestick its own unique character while remaining a beautifully matched pair.
