Antique Hanover Terrace, Regent's Park Engraving, 1827

This early 19th-century hand-coloured engraving illustrates Hanover Terrace, Regent's Park, one of London's most celebrated Regency architectural landmarks.

Dating from 1827, this architectural print was drawn by Thomas H. Shepherd and engraved by W. Wallis, published by Jones & Co., 3 Acton Place, Kingsland Road, London. It is inscribed to John Nash Esq., the architect of this and other splendid works in its neighbourhood.

The finely detailed view showcases the elegant classical façade designed by John Nash, with its grand colonnades, symmetrical proportions and refined Regency character. Figures and a horse-drawn carriage animate the foreground street scene.

Presented in a period-style black and gilt frame.
