Antique Hukin & Heath Silver-Plated Coffee Pot | c.1875–1900

An elegant late 19th-century silver-plated coffee pot by the renowned British silversmiths Hukin & Heath, dating to around 1875–1900.

Its clean, understated form reflects the influence of the Anglo-Japanese Aesthetic Movement, a style for which Hukin & Heath became renowned during their collaborations with designer Dr. Christopher Dresser.

The coffee pot features a flared body, a hinged lid with a black finial, and its original woven cane-wrapped handle, which remains in very good condition.

The underside bears the early J.W.H. & J.T.H. four-circle maker's mark, together with pattern number 13747 and size 16, confirming its Victorian manufacture.

A fine example of late Victorian design, equally suited to a collection of Aesthetic Movement silver or as a functional decorative piece.

Condition
Very good antique condition with light wear consistent with age. The silver plate retains a bright finish, and the original cane-wrapped handle remains in very good condition.
