Max Le Verrier Signed Bronze Vide-Poche, Bellerophon

Beautiful bronze vide-poche by Max Le Verrier (1891-1973), the renowned French sculptor of the Art Deco era, famous for his bronze works.
This piece depicts Bellerophon, the legendary Greek hero, alongside Pegasus—shown in a classical, stylised form without wings, characteristic of the artist's style. Before the days of Heracles, Bellerophon was known as the greatest hero and slayer of monsters.

Signed “Le Verrier” and titled on the underside, confirming its authenticity and origin.

A rare collector's item, handcrafted in Le Verrier's legendary workshops in France during the early 1900s, with a signature “verdi gris” (green-grey) finish.
