Antique Pearlware Plate — Chinoiserie Pagoda Scene, Feather-Edge, circa 1780
Pickup currently not available
This late 18th-century pearlware plate features a delicate feather-edge border and a hand-painted Chinese-inspired pagoda scene at its centre.
Dating to circa 1780, the piece reflects the fascination for Eastern motifs that shaped much European decorative art during the period.
The softly moulded edge, subtle tonal variations, and visible hand-painted details give the plate a refined and expressive character.
Both decorative and historical, it works beautifully as a wall piece or as part of a layered arrangement of antique ceramics.
